Thailand Pastor

We support the works of missionaries Dr. Bob Shim and his wife Grace Shim. Most recently, Grace received her counseling license and works with Cornerstone COunseling Foundation (CCF) to provide counseling to missionaries throughout Asia. Bob uses his medical expertise to work with SDRF.

Sustainable Development Research Foundation (SDRF) was started by the Thai people in order to reach out to and interact with the marginalized and impoverished Isan people of Northeast Thailand. In an effort to respond to the needs of the local people, the SDRF developed a system of integrated agriculture focused on local villages to help the poor deal with their subsistence needs. Systems that integrated pigs and sucks with fish and vegetables and were linked to stable water resources were developed in multiple village communities in order to provide those in need with a base of support. To this point, the SDRF has expanded the work to villages in a wide area.
